The fabrication of Hg1223 filament was studied through solution spinning method by partial-substituting Sr for the Ba site and Re addition. The precursor (Ba_<0.8>Sr_<0.2>)_2Ca_2Cu_3Re_1O_x filament with diameter of 250 μm was reacted in a controlled Hg atmosphere. The filament was nearly single phase of Hg_1Ba_2Ca_2Cu_3O_x (Hg1223) with T_c of 127 K. The maximum transport critical current density (J_c) of the filament at 77 K and 0 T was attained to 1000 A/cm^2. The plane-like grains were packed densely in the filament. The effect of oxygen annealing of the filaments was minor.
