The spectral sideband caused by the amplitude modulation of a copper-vapor-laser-pumped dye laser MOPA, was distributed in a frequency region of more than 3 GHz and its intensity was about 0.01 compared with the average DC component at the modulation frequency of 1 GHz, according to the results of Fourier analysis for apulse waveform measured with a streak camera and the rate equation analysis.
