The polymorphic characteristics of five polymorphs of oxotitanium phthalocyanine (TiOPc; amorphous, α, β, γ and the m-form) have been investigated by means of solid-state cross-polarization magic-angle-spinning (CP/MAS) ^<13>C-NMR spectroscopy. The solid-state CP/MAS ^<13>C-NMR spectra have suggested magnetic differences in the TiOPcs. The well-separated chemical shifts mean superior regularity of the TiOPc molecules.
