The curie peak is shifted to around 150℃ in BaTiO_3. The curie peak in the BaTiO_3/PVDF composite of 70% wt. fraction of BaTiO_3 has been found to be absent. XRD studies show the elimination and suppression of some of the peaks of PVDF in the composite. The results are explained on the basis of an ultrafine particle size of BaTiO_3 (about l μm), an off-valency additive effect and internal stresses.
