The relaxation of order-disorder transition has been treated. The thermodynamic potential of a non-equilibrium state is discussed, with the affinity of order-disorder change being introduced. Entropy production is written in terms of order parameters. Thus along the line of the Prigogine-de Groot theory in non-equilibrium thermodynamics, time variations of order parameters as well as those of entropies are obtained. It is shown that, in the early stages of both the formation and decay processes of order at constant temperature, the short-range order parameter and the amount of produced entropy vary linearly with time.
