• We have demonstrated the use of secondary ion beams and stacked detector arrangement for measuring stopping power dE/dx of any stopping medium. The advantages of the present setup are that the energy and ion species can be changed with ease; moreover, data needed for determination of energy loss can be collected simultaneously.
