Preliminary T-T-T Curve of Bi-Pb-Sr-Ca-Cu-O Thin Films

Films of Bi-Pb-Sr-Ca-Cu-O with desired 2201, 2212 and 2223 phases have been successfully prepared by means of DC magnetron sputtering and precise control of the postannealing process. A preliminary temperature-time-transformation (T-T-T) diagram is proposed from the observation. Pb-loss control is found to be crucial to the high-T_c (2223) phase obtained by the postannealing process, a higher PbO content in the films is observed to extend the temperature region of availability of the high-T_c phase and vice versa.
