Optical properties of LiNH_4C_4H_4O_6・H_2O (LAT) were studied by means of a high-accuracy universal polarimeter (HAUP). The temperature dependences of the gyration tensor components were obtained. The elastogyration coefficients were determined. Rotation of the indicatrix takes place only around the b axis in the low-temperature phase. The rotation angle of the gyration surface was found to be three orders of magnitude larger than that of the iudicatrix.
