• The electron spin resonance (ESR) spectra in the mixed-valence compound YbCuAl have been observed between 4 K to 77 K. The temperature dependence of linewidths shows a clear anomaly around 40 K. Above 42 K, g=g_s=2.0023. Below 10 K, enormous g-shifts are observed. The properties of ESR. spectra in YbCuAl can be qualitatively described by the s-f mixing model.
