概要

• A very short review of work on the effect of electrical phenomena on bone growth and healing is given. This is followed by a description of an apparatus for producing a pulsed magnetic field intended to induce small currents in human limbs. This apparatus has been used for the non-invasive treatment of non-union of bones, and the three cases so far treated are briefly described.
