Electromechanical properties of a magnetostrictive vibrator made of Ni-Cu-Co ferrite are investigated over the temperature range 20℃〜-269℃. Variation of the resonant frequency is very small over the range 20℃〜-l20℃, but the mechanical Q at resonance greatly decreases near -100℃. The decreases may be due to the lagging of magnetic flux, in which electron migration is related.
