This paper describes methods for measurements of the ion temperature, electron temperature and the plasma density of the streaming plasma by inserting two or three plane probes, each of which has a parallel or perpendicular face to the direction of the stream. These methods need exact formulations of the ion saturation currents of each of the probes to calculate the ion temperature and density. These are also determined in this paper by considering the effect of penetration of the electron into the ion sheath. By the use of these methods, furthermore, the ion and electron temperatures and the density of the plasma made by the coaxial plasma gun were measured to prove the utility of these methods.
