Saturation Velocity for Bubble Expansion by Sampling Optical Photography in Bubble Garnet Films

Saturation velocity of wall motion during bubble expansion for bubble garnet samples (YLuSmCa)_3(GeFe)_5O_<12> observed by using high-speed sampling optical photography is described. The saturation velocity observed at high drive fields is closely related to (γ?M_s) and the linear relation has been found (γ: gyromagnetic ratio, ?: wall width parameter, and M_s : saturation magnetization). The present result, together with those already reported by others, implies that the saturation velocity V_s for bubble expansion varies as V_s=4γ?M_s-13 (m/s), while the relation of V_s for the translation and collapse methods is approximately V_s=1.4γ?M_s.
