• The change in electric resistance of single crystals of Ni_3Fe, when placed in a magnetic field parallel to the direction of current, was measured with a potentiometer. The specimens used were rods of about 30 cm length and 0.2 cm diameter, the axes of which coincide with the tetragonal, diagonal and trigonal axes, respectively. As for the longitudinal magneto-resistance effect, every direction of the axes reveals an increase in resistance, the amount of which is in the decreasing order of [111], [110] and [100] directions. The anisotropy constants of magneto-resistance are gradually decreased with increasing temperature up to the Curie point.
