• The intragrain transmittance distribution was introduced into a randont dot model theory,and more general theoretical equations of average transmittance and an autocorrelation function were derived.Thev allowed us to analyze the statistical properties of a model granular pattern composed of developed emulsion grains having an arbitrary intragrain transmittance distribution.
