The absolute value of the viscosity of introgen was measured with a capillary-type closed viscometer. The effect of the unsteady flow was observed in the viscosity measurement of the gas under low pressure, applying a high pressure drop through the capillary. An analytical equation is applied to our experimental data and the exact values of the measurement of the nitrogen viscosity are discussed.
