Modification of the Mie-Gruneisen equation of state has been used for the estimation of bulk modulus at different temperatures in LiCl, LiBr, MgCu_2 and in Li. Variation with temperature of the Debye temperature, ⊝, the Gruneisen parameter, γ, and of the Anderson-Gruneisen parameter, δ, have been taken into account for the first time. The agreement between the calculated and experimental results is satisfactory enough for the Wachtman equation to be used for bulk modulus estimation even at inaccessible ambients.
