The first-order network boundaries are observed on germanium surfaces exposed to HF-H_2O_2-H_2O solutions. Kinetic considerations of the network boundaries lead to the suggestions that the boundaries originating from etch pits exist stably as long as the sufficient supply of side faces from etch pits to the boundaries is made and that one side of the boundary faces is {1^^-11} and the other side is {100}. The texture of surfaces after very long etching periods is also studied and discussed.
