An analysis is presented for the hydromagnetic pivoted slider bearing with a convex pad surface in the presence of transverse magnetic field. It is found that the load supporting capacity of the bearing is increased by the application of large magnetic field. Further it is shown that hydromagnetic pivoted slider bearing with a convex pad surface can support more load than hydromagnetic inclined slider bearing.
