Specific heat of pure zinc has been measured in the temperature range of 1.7 to 4.2゜K. The electronic specific heat coefficient γ and the Debye temperature Θ_0^c are determined by means of a least squares fit as (0.633±0.002) mJ/mol. deg^2 and (319.7±1.0)゜K, respectively. The present result shows an appreciable deviation from a straight lineif it is plotted in C/T vs. T^2 diagram, indicating that the T^5 term cannot be neglected. The present data of Θ_0^c, in particular, are discussed in connection with the elastic Debye temrerature Θ_0^c.
