Both the condensate and the feedwater systems in BWR (Boling Water Reactor) nuclear power plants have important functions, to feed a large quantity of high pressure water into the reactor for maintaining the reactor coolant. Generally both systems are tied serially with the feedwater line. A new condensate system, named the isolated condensate polisher system, in which the condensate polisher system is separated from the serial connected systems has been proposed. The dynamics of the new condensate and feedwater system were estimated by developing a dynamic simulation program of the component module model. The following points were established through dynamic simulations on normal and abnormal operations. 1). In designs, the condensate polisher system could be isolated without considering dynamic interference with other systems. 2). The feedwater flow-rate and the reactor water level were seldom affected by the trip events of the condensate polisher pumps.
