A derivation of the moist air temperature equation for a flow within vegetation was attempted. The heat exchange between leaves and ambient air appeared by averaging spatially the equation of moist air temperature. They are dry air heat transfer, vapor sensible heat transfer due to transpiration, and heat exchange due to photosynthesis. We investigated the magnitude of these heat fluxes by computing the budgets of heat, water vapor, and carbon dioxide within a tree. The vapor sensible heat due to transpiration was much less than the dry air heat transfer.
