This paper is one of the series of studies on the traffic in a hospital. It describes the day-investigation into the actual conditions on the movement of persons and vehicles centering around the outpatient department and the department of central laboratory. The results of investigation are as follows; 1) Total of person's coming & going in and out the outpatient department : about 3300 persons (outpatients; about 1550 persons). In them, amount of traffic among each clinic department : about 500 persons (outpatients; about 200 persons). And among outpatient department and other departments : about 2800 persons (outpatients : about 1400 persons). 2) In total of person's coming & going in and out the department of central laboratory, amount of traffic among outpatient department and department of central laboratorys : about 350 persons (radiology department : about 170 persons. In them, outpatients : about 70 persons). Amount of traffic among ward department and department of central laboratorys : about 280 persons (radiology department : about 90 persons. In them, patients; about 60 persons). 3) In addition to, total of vehicle's coming & going in and out the department of central laboratorys; about 90 times (radiology department; about 50 times. In them, patients; about 30 times).
