Many structures were damaged by the earthquake off Tokachi in Japan in 1968. But some structures were not damaged by this earthquake, and Hachinohe Nisseki Hospital was one of them. It is important to study not only structures which were damaged, but also those which were not damaged. It is interesting to study Hachinohe Nisseki Hospital by a dynamic analysis. This Hospital is 7 story reinforced concrete structure, and is designed statically in conformity to the seismic coefficient 0.2 which is decided in Japanese building code. In this study, the linear and tri-linear response analysis of this structure are executed. As the result of the response analyises, it is presumed that the maximum acceleration of the Tokachi earthquake which this structure was subjected to would be 80 gal.
