A new statistical evaluation method which is called the likelihood interval estimation method is proposed in this paper. From a view point that a likelihood function is also a random variable, the author tried an interval estimate of likelihood function. Based on this theory, a distinction between a point estimate and interval estimate becomes meaningless. Through some applications and the theory descrided in this paper, it becomes clear that the interval estimation methods proposed hitherto give an inconservative value,. The newly proposed method was found to be effective in evaluation of a small sample data by the inevitability of interval estimation.
