By flooding water tight compartment arranged in side of hopper, the ship is easily capsized and all mud in the hopper is dumpfed.For large angle of inclination of the ship, the water in the compartment rights the ship, and as the compartment situated above the light draft, the is discharged through the bottom valve at small inclination Therefore the ship regain her stability at the slope. All the valve control is manoeuvered electricaly on the tug boat by captyre wire conneted to the ship. The ship has special under water form and there is no need of steering during towing. One ship was completed in 1954 and other two larger type in 1955 by Watanabe Steel Works in Tokyo.
