全部鋳造冠支台装置を施した架橋義歯歯列における各臼歯の対合接触状態に関する研究 : 片顎片側の第1大臼歯欠損の場合について

• There have been many studies on the occlusal contacts in the natural dentition, however ; regarding the artificial teeth, that of the complete dentures are researched. Then, the fixed partial dentures with full cast crowns being frequently used in the crown and bridge prosthesis as the abutments areset ; the occlusal contacts of that are studied. The subjects in this studies consist of eighty-three males from 20 to 49 years old, furthermore ; their first molar on each side of upper or lower jaw is lost. They are set the fixed partial denture being made by the author, with the pontic for the first molar, the full cast crowns for the second bicuspid and molar. Concerning the occlusal contacts of each age group in each of posteriors at the different occlusal position, the number and area of that are measured by the Ochiai's method. It is examined if the occlusal contacts of fixed partial denture are closely connected with that of the natural dentition and, as results of this studies, the following conclusions are obtained. 1. As regards the mean area of the occlusal contacts, the difference between non-prosthetic and prosthetic side is not significant in every age groups, occlusal positions, posteriors of upper and lower jaws, except only one tooth. 2. About the mean number of that, there is not significant difference between non-prosthetic and prosthetic side in every age groups, occlusal positions, posteriors of upper and lower jaws. 3. Regarding the mean area to a occlusal contacts, the difference between non-prosthetic and prosthetic side is not significantly recognized in every age groups, occlusal positions, posteriors of upper and lower jaws. 4. As mentioned above, the number and area of that in non-prosthetic jaw are not extremely significantly differed between right and left side of jaw in every age groups, occlusal positions, posteriors of upper and lower jaws. That in prosthetic jaw are not significantly differed between non-prosthetic and prosthetic side in every age groups, occlusal positions, posteriors of upper and lower jaws, exceptonly one tooth. 5. Therefore, as to the number and area of that, it is able to say that each of posteriors in the fixed partial denture being made by the author is almost like the condition of natural dentition.
