• A brief review of the present status of 2-D fluid codes for the simulation of the boundary plasma in Tokamaks has been given in this paper. The major physics included are; (1) plasma transport model, (2) neutral gas transport model, and (3) atomic/molecular data base. Example results of the SOL plasma simulation for JFT-2M and ITER are also shown.
