• Protection of the management information system(MIS) in an organization from unlawful destroying and invading is critical. This paper is based on the architecture of traditional authorization system, however, some important improvement are made and discussed. The menus of the system is considered as the authorization objects which could be authorized directly. The relationship between menus and data are formalized. Functions of the menus in MIS are expanded. The improved authorization system is easy to realize and more effective for security of the MIS.
