Introducing Network News to Large Group Discussion in Undergraduate Course

In the information society, the knowledge and skill on information and computer are required. Therefore, we prepared lectures of information society for the first grade undergraduate students. To achieve the learning purpose effectively, discussion on the contents should be introduced. But for some reasons, it was difficult to carry out the general discussion. Instead of general discussion, net-news discussion was adopted. According to the system evaluation by students, net-news discussion seems to be effective. Therefore, to approve formally the adoption will continue.
