1. An enterprise has its own administrative policies. Since the aim of its data-processing system is to assist and strengthen the administration, it can be effective only by following the administrative policies. 2. the question is how and in which areas the data-processing system should be strengthened and its efficiency raised. This belongs to the problem of resource allocation of the enterprise. 3. An enterprise must have an all-round data-processing system. Introduction of a computer system is one of the means of strengthening and raising the efficiency of this data-processing in the enterprise. With these things in mind, we will look at some examples of computer-system introduction in Japanese enterprises, and consider the roles that their executives played in the computerization of Japanese industry.
