• Gibberellins A_3, A_<4+7>, A_5 and A_9 increase the number of male buds and flowers, but inhibit the opening of female flowers and shift their position to a higher node in Luffa acutangula. GA_3 is the most effective followed by GA_<4+7>, GA_5 and GA_9.
