The households of U.S. Cable TV will be over 60% in the end of 1990,then Cable TV is on a par with terrestrial TV broadcasting. In domestic households of Cable TV is about 20%. but condition of growth being prepared. There are two effective technologies of Cable TV, space communication and optic fiber transmission. Space communication contributes to more channel of Cable TV programs and optic fiber transmission is better performance of picture quality and more service of broadcasting new technology, for example HD-TV. For an operator of Cable TV, fiber brings low cost operation, construction and get high fidelity plant.
