• A novel color display device-DC LCCS/DC BIT(called also LCCS/BIT for short)consists of a dual color liquid crystal color shutter(DC LCCS)and a dual color beam-index CRT(DC BIT). The DC LCCS consists of a pleochroic red/cyan polarizer, a neutral polarizer and a pi-type LC cell. In DC BIT green and red/blue stripes compose a color duet. LCCS/BIT display the full color image by the joint action of DC LCCS and DC BIT. LCCS/BIT has muny excellent characteristics.
