概要

• The authors have developed the DVD Recorder with the DVD-RW discs. This DVD Recorder is the prototype for the first time which is based on "DVD Specifications for Rewritable/Rerecordabel Discs Part3 Video Recording". For this development, we have developed the new optical pick-up and signal processing LSIs to write/read the DVD-RW discs, new audio and video encoding platform and the firmware and new graphic user interface(GUI). Then we have made available of the DVD Recorder to the video recording users.
