概要

• With the replacement of all one-inch video tape recorders with D-3 VTRs, which are usedin NHK to put programs on the air, we have invented a large-capacity video cart system. The D3-BANK system, using D3-VTRs, automatically puts on the air approximately 300 completed program tapes everyday in NHK's four television services, general, educational, BS1,BS2. In this report, we would like to outline the objectives and configuration of the new system.
