• Last year, "Woodstock'94" was held in commemoration of the twenty-fifth anniversary. The stage performances which lasted two days, nearly thirty hours in all drew and attracted tree hundred thousand of audience. Those pictures were transmitted as the live to all the world, so that this concert became a big event at the media age. NHK co-produced this concert programme with Polygrame Entertainment Company. This co-production was all in HDTV. The programme was converted in NTSC and transmitted as the international picture to several broadcasters in the world. The scale of this production was very big as the overseas Hi-Vision project. Besides, it was the largest scale of HDTV operation of the past in the U.S.A.
