Examinations were made on the effects of initial concentration of riboflavin (C_0), hydrogen ion concentration[H^+], and ionic strength (μ) on light fading of riboflavin solution and it was found that the fading progressed according to the following formu1a : [numerical formula] where A and B are constants, and k_C, k_H, and k_μ are apparent light-fading rate constants relative to initial concentration of riboflavin, hydrogen ion concentration, and ionic strength, respectively.
