• Pseudocricotopus subgen. n. is proposed for 3 Japanese species belonging to the genus Cricotopus : C. (P.) montanus TOKUNAGA, C. (P.) tamadigitatus SASA and C. (P.) nishikiensis sp. n. Full descriptions are given to these 3 species, and a key is provided to them.
