Morphological observations were made of the ovary and uterine eggs of the larviparous Muscid fly, Musca bezzii collected in northern Japan. The ovary consists of two paris of ovarioles, being different from the original description. The larva was deposited as a late first instar onto the surface of cattle dung. Ejection of eggs was observed occasionally. Although embryogenesis was almost completed in a small porportion of such eggs, they failed to hatch and died. The majority of the eggs did not show any sign of development.
