Respective distributional patterns of the cerambycid beetles belonging to the genus Pidonia are clarified based upon their vertical distribution and relative abundance in various parts of Shikoku. Relationship between species is analysed by means of the warmth index. They are divided into five groups with reference to the forest environment, in which respective species live. The significance of Fagus and intermediate coniferous forests for their differentiation is pointed out.
