• The research-history of Dermestidae in Japan is mentioned. A key to the Japanese genera of Dermestidae is given. One species of the genus Thylodrias MOTSCHULSKY, two species including a new species of the genus Trinodes DEJEAN and a new species of the genus Evorinea BEAL are described or redescribed. The last genus is recorded from Japan for the first time.
