The nest structures and nesting sites of Braunsapis sauteriella were observed in Taiwan from April 25 to May 5, 1974. This paper supplements the data obtained by IWATA (1931) for the same species in Taiwan, one of the northernmost areas inhabited by Braunsapis. The pithy or sometimes hollow stems of five plant species, such as Stachytarpheta jamaicensis, were used for the nesting sites. Nests are composed of a partitionless burrow narrowed at the entrance by a collar made of pith dust. They contained some immatures and one adult female each, and sometimes included a turning chamber.
