• Nine species of Lucanidae and two species of Passalidae collected by Dr. T. Kumata during the Hokkaido University Scientific Expedition to Nepal Himalaya are reported and illustrated, of which two Lucanids, Metopodontus biplagiatus and Macrodorcas fulvonotatus, seem to be new to Nepal.
