概要

• A new elaterid species of the genus Thaumastiellus is described from Taiwan (Formosa). It differs from T. elegans, only the Taiwanese species hitherto known, in the coloration of elytra and the relative length of antennal segments. Both the species are illustrated, and a description of the male genitalia of T. elegans is given.
