The postembryonic development of the male reproductive organs of Trabala vishnu has been described. The aedeagus and parameres (valves) are respectively formed from the inner and outer pairs of phallic lobes which themselves arise from a single pair of lobes. The endophallus of the aedeagus originates from the inner coaxial aedeagal tube. The latter arises from a dorsal invagination in the ventral wall of the primary aedeagal tube. Testes and the vas deferentia are derived from paired groups of mesodermal cells originating dorsally in the fifth abdominal segment. The median ejaculatory duct is mainly formed from a tubular invagination between the bases of the aedeagal lobes and the endophallus arises from the inner coaxial tube of the primordium of the aedeagus. The median tubular rudiment bifurcates anteriorly to form a pair of ampullae, which become tubular and elongated and their proximal parts below the point of junction with the ampulla of the vas deferens of their respective side form lateral ejaculatory duct, and the distal blind part as accessory gland. The mode of formation of the endophallus and the accessory glands noted in the present investigation differ in detail from those of earlier workers.
