A new woolly aphid of the genus Ceratovacuna collected on the bamboo, Thysostachys siamensis, is described from northern Thailand. This new species is allied to C. perglandulosa known from India, but can be distinguished from the latter by the setal condition and the shape and distribution of wax plates on the apterous adults.
