This paper deals with three Japanese species of Oxycera. The male of one species is unknown. This species may possibly be identical with O. tangi Lindner from China and is treated here as O. sp. The male genitalia of O. japonica and O. kusigematii are described and figured for the first time. A number of new illustrations of the Japanese Oxycera are presented.
