• The genus Ragas Walker is revised and includes the following six species : R. alpina sp. nov. (Arizona), R. circinata sp. nov. (Ussuri, Japan), R. longicauda sp. nov. (Arizona), R. munroei sp. nov. (California), R. primigenia Melander (California), and R. unica Walker (Europe, Ussuri, Hokkaido). All species are described, keyed, and male and female terminalia illustrated. The phylogenetic relationships of the included species of Ragas are analysed. Ragas generosa Meunier, a species from Baltic amber, is not congeneric, but remains of uncertain generic assignment, differing from all extant Northern Hemisphere genera. Ragas setosa Bezzi is redescribed, male terminalia illustrated, and transferred as Iteaphila setosa (Bezzi) comb. nov.
