• Three new species of Podisminae are described from the Ryukyu Archipelago, southern Japan : Sinopodisma aurata and Tonkinacris yaeyamaensis from Ishigaki Island and Iriomote Island, and Tonkinacris ruficerus from Okinawa Island. The male and female genitalia of both genera are described.
